This was my first time visiting the Drunken Fish, I wasn't sure if this was my kind of restaurant, I thought it was more of a sushi kind of restaurant, I'm glad that I was able to see what kind of a restaurant it really was. The chicken fried rice was delicious, and it was a very sizable portion. I stuffed myself and still took a nice sized portion home. The service was great. We were immediately seated and given menus. The waiter answered any question that was asked of him and was very good at recommending what a first timer should try. The ambiance was nice, not crowed at all, and clean. I'll definitely give this place a second and third try.
I haven't been in this location in probably 15 years and that's probably the last time they changed the seats (they were pretty beat up). Their prices have gone up significantly but I ordered the small order of lobster spring rolls (only 2 rolls lol) and a mango roll. The sushi roll was aesthetically pleasing and the green sauce that comes with the lobster roll was to die for. However, service was pretty slow considering how empty it was (week night).
This place was really good. My vegan sushi was amazing. The service was also great. I was surprised with a cute birthday treat. I wasn't too fond of the cauliflower, but everything else made up for it. The drink was one of their best sellers. It tasted like a green jolly rancher. Make sure to check them out if you're in the area.
Came here a while back. It was decent but definitely not the best sushi I have had in Saint Louis, u can tell that the sushi wasn't as fresh as come other places but the taste was good. The price seems to be higher than what is supposed to be but I think it's because of the rent.
The service here was great! The food came out at a timely manner, and the staff were very helpful and kind. The vibes here were nice, perfect for my date.
What a vibe! The experience did not disappoint. For someone new to sushi this is right on the line of meet and exceed expectation overlapping. The chicken fried rice was not like anything l have had. There is a taste that l can not identify but adds a sweet balance which was unexpected. It is a large serving size and has a generous amount of chicken. I LOVE THIS PLACE As a St. Louis local, this place is always on my list to show people who come into town. They have the sweetest staff who always remember us & give us their best recommendations. I absolutely have dreams about the Lobster Spring Rolls & I can't stop going back!
